Original Flooring Project
This Original Flooring Project was completed in early August. It was one of the best examples how lasting a good quality wood floor can be. We arrived at a stately century home with a great big foyer with a beautiful, long staircase leading to the second floor.
The original hardwood flooring in that house was previously refinished and well cared for, but now it was time to shift the colour a bit and restore the rightful beauty to the floor boards.

We worked on the entire first including the kitchen area:
Once the floor was completely sanded, the new stain was applied for a beautiful results:
It always amazes me how beautiful wood can truly be. As you can see in those pictures above, there is still lots of life in those floors and even though the wet shine of the varnish still glistens here, we can see the beauty of the finished product already.
